Follow That Bird!
Can I just tell you that I love this movie? It has been years (literally) since I've seen it. I had today off (thank the Lord) and so I had a "Suzy Day" today. I played on the internet, had "Girl Guide" cookies - kind of like Girl Scout Cookies, but Canadian (she got them for me and I've been saving them for a special occasion...), did scrapbook stuff, played with my kitties, and watched this old gem of a movie.This was the very first Sesame Street movie, and I remember how much of an impact this had on me as a child. The "Blue Bird of Happiness" scene STILL gets me every time. Not that Big Bird is a vocalist by any means, but "I'm so Blue" makes me want to hug something. Let's hear it for Big Bird!

Ahh....I remember taking you to that movie...Andy's 4th birthday. (We had just moved to Savannah and you cried when they painted big bird blue and made him "the blue bird of happiness." Seems like just yesterday!
I can't say I've ever seen this movie, I will try to get a hold of a copy at some point. I can say I am a huge The Muppet Show fan and have seen all their movies. I just wasn't as into Big Bird, he does have a cameo in the The Muppet Movie. I loooove Miss Piggy and Kermie!!!
