Mystery Solved...

Let me just tell you that I am a pretty meticulous person; some may even say a bit O.C.D. It is just that when I place something somewhere in my house "decoratively," then I place it in a certain way. Not to freak any of my friends and potential guests out, but I can usually tell if someone has been looking at something in my house, especially if it looks out of place.

Okay, that said, something has been troubling me lately. For the past couple of weeks, I could swear that someone has been out to make me crazy. And since I don't (think) I have split personalities, and we haven't had guests in a little bit, it is either Tim or the cats that are doing it. Someone has been turning the toilet paper stand backwards. And it has been totally freaking me out. It is almost on a daily basis, too.

I hadn't said anything to hubby about it. I didn't want to risk him thinking I was a spaz. But I've been keeping a close eye on Pan and Juno (my cats) to gage their dexterity and strength. I've also been listening to my apartment to see if there was some type of poltergeist going on. So far, nothing.

So what could it be?!? Am I losing it? I thought I turned that stand around yesterday, and the day before that, and the day before that... But who knows?

So today hubby explained to me (of his own accord) that he noticed our cat Pan has a new trick. (He can fetch, open doors, even b*#ch-slap someone. So talented, eh?) Well, hubby gets up way before me to get his morning shower, and he has had to turn the toilet paper stand around lately (sometimes forgetting to put it back) because our cat, Pan has been siting on the toilet seat, waiting for Tim to get out. In these past couple of weeks, if Tim hasn't finished his shower quickly enough, or if Pan gets too bored waiting, he has taken to unrolling entire rolls of TP. Hmmm.

So that is where all the toilet paper has gone!!! Punk cat.
