Thursday Thirteen #20

Thirteen Things I wouldn't want to live without!
(In honor of Survivor tonight...)
- Indoor Plumbing. That is for dang sure. I can play "farmer-girl" for a day or two, but then I reach my tolerance limit.
- My hubby. This one just goes without saying. No one else in the world treats me as the princess I am! (Yes, he is the true Southern gent. He even opens doors for me.)
- Chocolate. When a girl need her chocolate, she NEEDS it.
- Music. I usually always have music playing in the background. I think I'd be really lonely without it.
- My computer! Enough said.
- My baby blanket. Okay I know that sounds really ridiculous, but I haven't ever had to be without it. It's a comfort thing.
- Books. (You knew I'd say that... I am a librarian!)
- A garden. No matter where I go, I have a need to grow something green. That's a mental thing.
- Snapple Tea. I have a serious addiction. And now I think I either also need to invest in straws or teeth whitener! Isn't that awful?!?
- Flip-flops. It is killing me that I can't wear them to work.
- My critters. I love my cats. They are fat and fluffy bits of heaven.
- Okay, my TV. I know that this is "TV turn-off week," but I just can't do it! I have a couple of shows that I crave: Survivor, Amazing Race, Alias, Lost, 24, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Sopranos, Big Love, and Huff. I know that is about 10 hours of my life that I've spent watching other people's lives, but I am okay with that.
- Finally, toothpaste. And I don't think any of you would like it if I did without toothpaste, either.

I can't live without books either. Or my kitties. And I think I'd actually die without my computer or the Internet. Then of course my TV shows - Amazing Race, Alias, Lost. I haven't watched 24 yet. I think I'm going to get those on DVD and watch them that way. That's actually how we got into Alias.
Thanks for sharing!
Great list! I agree on the flip flops, husband, and chocolate (and that's just off the top of my head).
My TT is up!
plumbing would be the craps if we didn't have it...also, don't be envious, but I get to wear flip-flops EVERY DAY to work :)
my list is up - stop by for a visit.
Me too! (except the TV, flipflops, and cat)
My 13 are also posted.
I definitely couldn't live without chocolate. My TT is up.
I am without on pretty much everything on that list. Chocolate, computer, garden, and critters are my definate 'couldn't live without'.
Got my TT up!
yes to all- but I love your #12- I'm inhaling the last of Alias!!
I finally gave the blanket and sucking my thumb up.

Very cute list. I couldn't live without books or chocolate either! :) My T13 is up if you'd like to drop by!
I wouldn't want to live without my books either! BTW you are living my dream job in my dream city!
My TT is up now!
Oooh a librarian? What a cool job!
I couldn't live without books, chocolate, or some of my favorite shows either ;)
And hey, I don't think the blanket is silly at all--I have a stuffed dog that my hubby gave me the 1st year we dated. :)
my dad told me about the outhouse days, so I am totally with you on number 1
I like how indoor plumbing is at #1! This is so true, more important than all the rest!
I'm with yo on many of them...especially 2, 3 and 4!! That's so sweet than your hubby treats you like a princess...mine too:)
...my list is up:)
I knew about all of them (tee hee!) Call your momma!
It's a good thing you mentioned books--I would have thought you'd gone over to the other side (IT). I'm with you on that indoor plumbing stuff.
My TT is up.
I've seen Big Love on a couple of 13's now. What is the deal with this show?
All I have seen is a polygamy vehicle which opens up the bashing on mormons even though they don't practice it and have nothing to do with the show.
Totally feel you on Survivor, was sorry to see Bruce go home last week. He was in such pain!
I'm glad you like our Botanic Gardens!
Yes, must have indoor plumbing and toothpaste... :-)
Thanks for stopping by!
Chocolates oh YES!!! and one thing also that i cant live without besides music, comp, books and a garden. my mobile phone!!!happy thursday!
Okay... that's a pretty good list! I've done without TV for so many years now I don't even know how to USE the remote! But other than that, I would agree with the rest. Oh - I don't have a blanky... and I'm more addicted to Starbucks Iced Tea lemonade than Snapple... but eh... small differences! BOOKS! I have to have them! And I DO wear flip flops to work! :) This was fun!
Thanks for stopping by mine!
Great list! I completely agree!
My TT is up!
What you didn't include TiVo??? I could never live without it!
Without reading through your comments, I'm sure I'm repeating, "WHAT? Plumbing topped the list over your hubby?"
Hate to admit I couldn't live w/o my TV, either. ;)
Thanks for stopping by my T13!
Thanks for dropping by my T T
The top of my list would be electricity...but that's for my computer, my TV and cd player! ROFLMAO (OH!!!!!!!! And dishwasher. Gotta have that) Stove? Nah---there's always Burger King. LOL
I love your list. Tough choice when pickking a favorite, but I must say #6. That's just darn cute *lol*
Escpecially since I remember my own VERY WELL...
Fantastic list...I am definitely in agreement with # 3. *S*
Thanks for visiting my TT & trying to guess my real name...it isn't Joan. *s*
it's good to have a list like this... that way, when the earth is about to explode, you can run around and gather them all up and put them in a box!
Great list, I am the same, except it isn't Snapple Tea it's Pepsi for me.
Thanks for stopping by!
Great list!!! :)
Good list. Thanks for dropping by.
I love this list....and I fully agree...I couldn't live without chocolate! ;o)
Love the list . . . I can't live without computers, flip-flops, books and my bed. Indoor plumbing goes without saying :D
Wonderful idea for a T13. Hope you enjoyed Survivor!
I couldn't live without a lot of those things either. Toothpaste, hubby, cats, computer, garden, TV.
Great idea for TT :)
I agree with a lot of those. And I didn't make it through TV-Turn-Off week either. lol
