Change

My good friend Christie wrote a beautiful post on changes. We are both going through lots of growing pains in our lives right now (new job situations and leaving friends behind, graduation, and other unmentionables), so I just wanted to share some of this... I think it's beautiful.

a wise man once said that for everything there is a season. changes come. that's a part of life. there are seasons, seasons of dying, seasons of birth, seasons of hard work, and seasons of carefree celebration. i suppose i mourn and embrace change all at once...

i can't say i always feel brave. it seems that i contemplate throwing my hands up at least once every day. but . . . i know that it is only through change that we grow and see the beauty that comes with each new season. i longingly look forward to the beautiful creation that will spring from this small seed in good time. may you embrace the seasons of change that come your way, and see the beauty God has sent you.
